I almost have no idea where to start with this one! This post is going to be huge because while I was looking for images to share in their blog, I just kept finding beautiful things. So many gorgeous, inspiring details and this couple is the sweetest!!!
They were married this fall at the Wedgewood Inn in Boulder. They wanted to have a Colorado outdoor wedding where the focus was on relaxing with their friends and family.
This property in the canyon sits on the river and paired with gorgeous morning sunlight, it feels like the perfect place for a garden party with Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
I absolutely loved Mackenzie’s dress. So simple and elegant; the texture in the lace fit beautifully with the natural textures in the reception decor. Not to mention, who doesn’t love a tulle skirt?
Right as the sun came up, I grabbed all the girls for a quick photo in the backyard. With brunch weddings, hair and makeup often starts when it’s still dark out! This little bit of sunshine woke everybody up and got us going; full of joy, laughter, and fun.
Of course, they guys took their time with me on the yard celebrating with beer and a toast for the groom. I’m not entirely sure everybody was awake at this point!
Mackenzie had hidden her dress from her bridesmaids, so when she unzipped it out of the bag it was a huge surprise for them!
The ceremony was held in full sun; it was a gorgeous, warm, sunny day!
A duo of musicians from Masterful Musicians (they are fantastic!) played for us during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
If you know me, you know I love an open air or outdoor reception space! The front of the tent was left wide open for this wedding reception, which is so fresh and beautiful paired with these unexpected chandeliers dripping with crystals!
X-back chairs in cream and ivory paired with rustic farm tables are one of my favorite looks.
This beautiful escort card display was designed by the brides sister, who is a true gem. I love the watercolor greenery detail paired with linen and heavy papers. Just gorgeous.
Ivory linens kept the space bright and fresh, allowing the pops of navy and jewel toned magenta to shine.
Stationary by the super talented sister of the bride! I cannot get enough of her work!
We set the wedding rings together on top of the speech that the brides Maid of Honor gave.
I love the bright poppy jewel tones that Mackenzie chose for her girls to wear!
All of the beautiful flowers were done by The Painted Primrose. She does beautiful, simple, elegant floral work!
At the end of the reception, guests gathered on the patio and blew bubbles for them. Such a beautiful ending to this sunny, fantastic brunch wedding!
Congratulations Mackenzie & Dane!
