Where do I start with Jennifer and Scott?
They shared their beautiful wedding with me last summer, and it was just incredible.
Imagine a beautiful blue sky day with rolling clouds at 10,000 feet. A small group of family and friends who are not only beyond words in love with the couple, but in awe of the incredible landscape.
A sweet, sweet Bulldog named Luna. Sentimental details in the dress and wedding rings (by Cartier). A gorgeous bride who was more than happy to show off her racerback tan from their triathlon competitions.
Jennifer and Scott celebrated their brunch wedding on the Vail wedding deck, followed by a sweet and simple brunch reception. After all of the excitement of the day, everybody was able to go home and relax before joining again to celebrate that evening with an after party in Vail Village. I was so thankful they invited me to the after-party, where I got to take my photographer hat off and just enjoy the wonderful people they surrounded themselves with.
This was a truly, special day.
Jennifer’s ruffle mermaid gown was by Rosa Clara.

This right here was one of my favorite parts from all of my 2016 weddings. Jennifer’s bridesmaid leaned over while we were on the gondola and she said ‘Jennifer!!!! This is incredible! I remember years and years ago you told me that someday you were going to get married on a sunny day on the top of a mountain, and look at where we are going right now. . .’
Cue tears, laughter, excitement. This right here is why I love weddings so much, and why I am so gosh darn sentimental. . .
Once we made it to the top of the mountain, I set Scott up in a beautiful, private meadow and let Jennifer walk towards him.
Luna, their sweet bulldog, was suffering from cancer and at the end of her life. To have her there with them on their wedding day meant the world to them.
After the ceremony we stayed back and enjoyed the beautiful views, soft sunshine, and mountain breeze on the Vail Wedding Deck. One of my favorite images from 2016. . .
There reception was held downstairs at the Game Creek Restaurant, slope side dining opportunity accessible in the summer by ski access roads. It offers more beautiful views and really delicious mountain-game inspired food.
